I have to disagree with the reviewers who said there was too much talking; if you already love Bryan Kest, you will enjoy this DVD. I have his Power 1-2-3 series and also Yoga for Weight Loss and love them all; this one is right in line with them. I find that his talking keeps me focused on my body and the pose and NOT on the chatter in my own mind....therefore, it is somewhat meditative for me. If you are lucky enough to be able to do this without guidance and prefer a quieter practice, then this may not be for you. I love Bryan's words about how your pose doesn't have to look like anyone else's or even like your own version of the pose on a different day. The focus is all about breathing and feeling something while being non-reactive....this helps me more than I can say, both on and off the mat. I'm going to be taking a workshop with Bryan this fall and I know it will be fun, yet very challenging. If you are a fan of his, then I think you will enjoy this workout...I found it challenging!

While I think this DVD provides a comprehensive all over body workout, I cannot believe how talkative Bryan Kest is through the entire video. Just when you think the flow is going to being he continues to talk for another 5 minutes. Part of what I love so much about yoga is the meditative aspect in addition to the fitness benefits. Kiss meditation good bye with this video -- or do yourself a favor and put it on mute.

I almost didn't buy this DVD because of negative reviews. I am a big fan of Bryan Kest Power Yoga Complete Collection and have been using it for years. Based on what I read, this one seemed as though it was going to be a big let down in comparison. True, the production is a lot more Spartan. And yes, Bryan Kest is very, very talkative. But the routine is on par with "Power Yoga." The asanas are more or less the same, in the same style, so it will be familiar to those use to the original. I did not find the flow awkward at all as another reviewer mentions. If you are familiar with Kest, you will like this DVD. Plus you already know he likes to talk a lot, so this should not be a big surprise. I am very glad I picked this up.

I ordered this dvd three years ago and have done power yoga with Brian Kest three times a week for three years. I finally wore out the dvd and purchased another one immediately as I could not be without this incredible workout. Two of my daughters purchased this power yoga body sculpting dvd and are devout fans of his workout also. It is educational, healing, and the reason twenty somethings admire my arms at the age of 50! Very much recommend this particular dvd from Bryan Kest.
